The blue<\/span> text in the play-list above indicates the debut play of a release on the show. That’s something that’s important to me, having new music regularly on the show. In saying that, it’s also fun to dust off and\u00a0re-visit\u00a0some older releases too. This week I give Green Velvet’s classic ‘Never Satisfied’ a spin,\u00a0Discogs tells me\u00a0it was released in 1997. Another blast from the past on the show… A Guy Called Gerald is featured,\u00a0with a new production,\u00a0I’m guessing a remake of Chip E’s\u00a0classic ‘Time To Jak’, it’s\u00a0new out on the\u00a0Sender label.<\/p>\n

As with\u00a0most decoded_<\/strong> shows things start out minimal and then build intensity as they head towards more electro-house territory, I like a bit of variety.\u00a0There’s some great production work on the new Border Community release by Petter ‘Some Polyphony’,\u00a0although with the beats dropping in and out so often, I’m\u00a0not sure how that would work on a dance floor, but it’s\u00a0a great listen.<\/p>\n

Also on the show, this week\u00a0I\u00a0feature the other side\u00a0of Carl Craig’s new Tres Demented release,\u00a0I don’t think fans of the previous Tres Demented release are going to ‘get’ this one…\u00a0“You give me brain freeze baby!!” umm yeah?\u00a0Tony Rohr’s Weave label goes the\u00a0minimal with a\u00a0great new release from Matt Star, thanks for the pre-release\u00a0mp3 Beatport. To finish up the show this week, a track from a producer who has not been played on the show for years… Surgeon, with a really nice deep\u00a0track from his new ‘Floorshow Part 1 EP’ out on his\u00a0CounterBalance label, which had been quiet\u00a0for over a year.<\/p>\n
